Firstly I would like to thank everyone that takes part in our weekly challenge, we really appreciate your support – if you have any friends that you think would enjoy taking part too then please give them the link to our blog – you do not need to have a blog to take part you can email your entries to me (Donna) at theartofpapercrafts@hotmail.co.uk as well.

So now onto the weeks challenge – It’s a Sketch challenge this time. We would ask for you to make a card/paper crafts project using the sketch below and a Robyn’s Fetish Image (we have a new freebie image released on this blog every Wednesday, or you can purchase them from the store HERE) Please could you also only use patterned papers and card stock from your scraps box for this challenge.

To enter all you need to do is leave us a link to your creation in the comments section of this post or email your project to me (Donna) at designteam@robynsfetish.com the closing date for this challenge is 12pm EST Friday 6th November. The winning creation will receive 6 digi images of their choosing.

Hi Everyone

Thank you to everyone that took part in last weeks challenge. We really enjoy seeing what you come up with.

The Challenge for this week is a Technique Challenge – to make a card/paper crafts project that has some kind of stitching on it BUT you cannot use faux stitching or a sewing machine!!!! Please can you also use a Robyn's Fetish image for your project.

Today we are holding our 1st Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop! We are hoping to make this an annual event to celebrate such a worthy cause.

To celebrate this cause Robyn has put together a very special Digi Stamp set (preview below) that is available from the Robyn's Fetish Store at a price of $10 however for the 24 hours of the blog hop this set will be reduced to $5 and 50% of the proceeds will be given to the Breast Cancer Awareness Charity - so please visit the store and order yours!

I've been cardmaking for 11 years, although I took a couple of years off when I moved back to California. My DH and I have been married for 19yrs. We live in Redding, CA. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 4 turtles, 1 rat and 1 chinchilla.

Art runs in my blood. I have been doing fine art, crafting, sewing, knitting, collaging and photography for as long as I can remember. For my Mother was a lover of the fine arts, particularly oil painting. I vividly remember making book report covers for elementary school (with a little help from her) using charcoal to make etchings and then shading them in with colored pastel chalks!!!! No crayons for this kid! ;) I used to sneak into the living room and pour over the coffee table books on Van Gogh, Cassatt, Manet, Degas, Monet and Renior (can you tell she loved the Impressionism period??). As the years went on my styles changed constantly. In college I seriously studied Fine Art, Art History, and Costume History along with Fine Art restoration and preservation.

I am now a 36 year old Mother of 2 super, extra delicious, fantastic children ages 4.5 and 3 respectively; I have a loving and supportive husband of 13 years along with 2 awesome dogs. I have always loved making things with my hands. I have been scrapbooking on and off for about 13 years but it wasn't until I was (and I know everyone says this!) invited to a Stampin' Up party that I was unequivocally hooked and then some on the art of stamping. I find, specifically with cards and alterable projects that having a smaller 'canvas' to work with is much less intimidating than having a huge piece of stretched art canvas standing on an easel in front of you... which is why I never had tremendous luck in the art of oil painting. I've also ALWAYS been drawn to mixed media, probably another reason why straight up painting didn't contain my interest. For my 35th birthday my darling husband remodeled our spare bedroom into a studio for me. Before I had this space I was just roaming all over the house with bits of stamping stuff everywhere which made my progress nightmarish...to say the least. He did all the work himself. He consulted with me on little and I was FLOORED at the amazing turn out. He is a true magician with utilizing small spaces and I have storage for everything. I breathe a quiet and content sigh every evening after I put my babies to bed when I sit down in my favorite purple desk chair to set to create something beautiful.

My name is Jeri. I just turned 37 yrs old, and mother to two teenage sons. I've been married for 17 yrs, to my husband Stephen. He serves in the US Army, and we're hoping to be retiring in about 6 yrs. We currently live in Arizona, at least for 2 more years anyways and then its off to wherever the military sends us next. My oldest son will be graduating in May 2010 and my youngest son will graduate in 1012 and will head off into the US Army upon graduation.

I have been an avid crafter for about 3 yrs now.. closer to 4 maybe. My craft loves are altered projects and cardmaking. I hope to make a scrapbook one day, but I'm not promising anything lol! I just recently, within the past 6 mths, found digi stamping and have fell in love. I think I use digi stamps more than I do rubber stamps these days!

I look forward to meeting new people, and learning from everyone I come in contact with!

Hi! My name is Sarabeth and I have been Scrapbooking and Card Making for the past almost 5 years! I live in New York and have an awesome and supportive hubby who tolerates my creative explosions throughout out apartment lol. I just started school again and am in for the ling haul to become a Pediatric Nurse! Wahoo, only a few years left lol! I am so excited to be a part of a team that has such talent and inspiration! I can remember being intoxicated by the smell of my first box of crayons. I always have loved art and being creative. I enjoy playing with color, shape and pattern to create interesting designs to showcase the images that I use.

I have been married to my wonderful hubby for the past 18 years. He keeps me in copic markers and is very supportive of my projects. I am a SAHM for a wonderful volleyball playing daughter.

My other interests include dog training. I have a trained therapy dog that I take to visit hospice patients weekly. I participate in dog agility competitions with my two dogs. I also am an avid bicyclist, both road and mountain.

My name is Deanne Burton. I'm a loving wife and mom. I am also a teacher of fantastic grade 6 kids (love 'em to pieces! Super Bunch!) I live in Newfoundland, and wouldn't live in any other place in the whole wide world!
I should have said first and foremost, I AM A SCRAP ADDICT! There I said it!
I have always been creative and have always done some sort of craft for as long as I can remember (even as a toddler!) Right from the first time I put a crayon in my hand, to now I have loved to create!
I am totally a craft addict (yeah I said it again)!!! I spend a part of EVERY day either scrapbooking, card-making or altering something. I have just recently found out about digi stamping and love it! I use my copics, aquapainter and inks to color the images in and it's so much like coloring, I love it! My all-time favorite activity as a kid was coloring, so this allows me to continue my addiction!!!!!

I am a New Zealander (Kiwi) and are currently living in Auckland, New Zealand but due to my husband's work commitments, I will be moving to Bendigo, Australia next month (November 2009). I have two sons ages 24 and 27. I love creating anything papercrafts related - including digital stamps, rubber stamping, cardmaking, scrapbooking and altered books.
