We Do It All Wednesday March 23rd

Today I am going to Link you to some sites that I've found
interesting and helpful for using your digital stamps.

First, a quick word from our sponsors

A new challenge every Sunday at 7:00 a.m. EST.
Freebies and Prizes, too.

Robyn has many, many digi stamps and digi papers
for your paper crafting needs.

Everything you need for crafting at discount prices
'If you don't see it....just ask'

Join our fun group where we have swaps, challenges, share
tips with one another and much more.
This is where you begin if you want to save $$$ by
shopping with OWSE.

This cute kitty with mittens image is available at

This is the card that I made by duplicating one image into three.

To make this card was quite simple in my image program.
First, I uploaded the png version of the image. That is the image without
any background. Mine was a transparent png so I didn't do any
overlapping of the images. Some pngs are white and you can
build easy layers with them. My theme was going to be the three
little kittens who lost their mittens so just a line of kitties worked for me.
Next, I resized it to the size that I wanted then duplicated it 2 more times.
Lined them up how I wanted and then printed them and finished up the card.

I compiled a list of links to help you expend your knowledge of
using digi stamps. Digi stamps are so fun and easy to use.

Enjoy

We Do It All Wednesday Mar 16

I have a real treat for your today. We are going to meet OWSE
member Trishey. She is sharing some beautiful things that she created.
I'm telling you I'm surrounded
by such talented people. If I'm not seeing them at our
IDIC challenges then they can be found at our OWSE sister site.

We have Lucy and her wonderful tutorials at

Where she is sharing her Spiral Flower Tutorial.
Check it out.

This is the badge for our new Welcome Page. You are just
a click away from all of our sites.
Like one of the most fabulous places to shop for discount prices
and personal service. Remember if you don't see it.....just ask.
Stop in and take a look at our new look.
Many of the 2011 Spring items seen at CHA now shipping and we have them.

I'd like for you to meet OWSE group member
Trishey.
Trishey says.....

I've been stamping for about 4 years, I just recently got interested in Tim Holtz style.
I've always been on the cutsie side of card making.
I have playdates at my house all the time where I share as much as I can with friends. I love learning new ideas from my friends
also.
I am married to my highschool sweetheart, we've been together for 42 years married for 36yrs.
We have two sons. Our oldest is a Federal Police Officer at the Pentagon and our youngest has been in the Army for 12 years. He has been
a
Green Beret for the past 4 years. We have 4 beautiful grand daughters, each son has 2 girls.
We live in Florida during the winter months and recently bought a house in the
Shenandoah Valley. Front Royal, VA to live during
the summer months. Giving us a little more time with at least 2 of our grand daughters.

This is a gorgeous Trinket Box that Trishey made.
I just love it.

This is one of Trishey's favorite things. This is her hand decorated
Travel Case. This beauty doesn't just sit on a shelf looking pretty...
she uses it all of the time.

She sent her instructions for us.

As far as my craft case. I just took some co-coordinating scrap book paper and tore each piece in all different size and shapes.
I inked the edge of each piece. I used "YES" paste to adhere the paper to the case. Using YES paste made it easier to move the
paper into place and absolutely no bubbles. Before placing any charms I used a sponge to go around the edges to make it look
a bit more distressed.
Once I had the whole case covered with the paper, I placed some pictures again with YES paste and I even put some charms.
I used Glossy Accents to adhere the charms.
Again once all this is done I put on 4 coats of
Polyurethane being sure to dry in between coats.

Visit your local thrift shop and get you an inexpensive hard side suitcase
and alter it like Trishey did. You can find little things for your Trinket Box while
you are there. Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium has many beautiful
papers, charms and just about anything that you will need to
finish up your projects.
We have challenges, swaps and just a lot of fun.
You will be glad that you did.

Thanks for stopping by today

Monday at Robyn's Fetish - 3/14

Easter Sunday is April 24th this year.
Are you getting your Easter cards started?

Just look at what DT member Cindy created
using the Robyn's Fetish 'Easter Egg' digi stamp.
She also used the Masking Technique that we are
doing on our IDIC challenge this week.

I think this card is just gorgeous with its bright, vibrant colors.
Beautiful job Cindy. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Robyn has a great collection of digi stamps and digi papers.

Happy Creating

A big thanks to

That's right we are having a technique challenge.
Let's give 'Masking' a try.
It is a little different if you use a digi but it can be done without
too much trouble. If you are using a traditional stamp you are almost
unlimited with what you can do using this fabulous technique.
So give it a try.

To help you with masking a digi DT member Cindy
has a masking technique for you here.
DT member Gurkiss has a masking tutorial for you here
using a rubber stamp.

Here are the DT members wonderful sample cards
using the masking technique.
