"NEWS FROM THE NEST"

1.  Our first news announcement is that last Thursday was the last post that Jeanette will be doing for the "We Do It All Thursday" page for us. 

If you missed that page, you missed a great example of how Jeanette combined 3 of the new "Back to School" images to create a scene.  Click on the link above to read Jeanette's post and enjoy a great tutorial!

Jeanette is not leaving us completely, though.  She will still be on our DT, so we will still be able to see her beautiful creations every Sunday on the I Did It Creations Challenge blog.

2.  This is sad for us here at I Did It Creations because Georgia is leaving our DT.  Georgia has been a very talented, creative and valuable member of the DT and will be greatly missed.  We wish you well in everything you do.

Hmmm!  I think that Hurricane Irene slowed Birdie down because she could not find many challenges for you to enter this week.

Hi there all.  It is Jeanette, back again with you
and the IDIC challenge blog.  It is nice to be back doing
the challenges with you.  Uhm? What is she doing here?
Where is Wendy?   Wendy has found it necessary to leave
the challenge.  I am really sad to see her go.  But, her small town
in Australia is sure happy.  Wendy has taken a job with an
organization that works with the Aborigines and she is very active
in her church and community.  So our loss is certainly their gain.
Good Luck Wendy.  We will all miss you.

Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More

This will be my last post for
We Do It All Thursday.
I thought I had better finish up the card that
I have been working on for the last 3 weeks.
Don't ask me what took me so long.  But,
it all worked out for the best because I received 2
more cards using the same image.
One of my favorite things to do is show one stamp used
several ways.  We all used the school house from
Robyn's Fetish latest release of Back to School digi Stamps

Susan colored her card through the eyes of a small child.
I just love the result.

This is a card that I started HERE using 3 of the new digis to create a scene.


To do this resize and layer png format images. These are included in
all of our zip downloads.

Look, I'm almost finished and I make a boo boo, darn!


I smudged blue on her nose area when coloring her eyes.
It was too big to remove with Copic Colorless Blender.
Oh no, I don't want to start all over again.


I can fix this.  Here is what I did.  I scanned my card with the smudge and then
uploaded it to my image program.  I took the girl image that I had used
and placed it right over my messed up area.

I continued coloring and here is the finished card.


Being able to mix and match, and do quick fixes,
is one of the many benefits of using digi stamps.

1.  Our first bit of news is that Wendy, our long time member of the DT and our current Team Leader, is leaving us.

Boo Hoo!  Birdie and I are crying because Wendy has been such a good friend to all of us at the I Did It Creations Challenge, and a valuable member of the DT. 

We are going to miss Wendy very much and we all wish her much success, luck and happiness in all of her future endeavours. 

Please do not forget to "pop in" every now and then to enter the challenge, Wendy!
