Today's card is from a new challenge that Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More is sponsoring this year.
The challenge is THE SQUIRREL AND THE FOX and the card was done by one of their Design Team members, the lovely Hilde Marsh.
Hilde made this wonderful card using the "SAILING, SAILING" digi that we provided for the "CRITTER CHALLENGE" theme they were having.
What a great birthday card!
Just look at this cute little duck taking his sailboat out on the high seas! And look at the wonderful details that Hilde has put into this card, too!
She has used some sequins to represent a rolling wave. What a terrific idea! That is something that I have never seen before and it is a great embellishment, don't you think?
Hilde colored her image with Promarkers and used some Stickles on the waves to accent them.
There are some cute buttons and a ticket "Happy Birthday" sentiment all accented in blue to carry out the blue and white color theme.
A lovely flower, layered in blue and white, is topped off with a sparkly gem center.
The flower border punch matches the dark blue and white paper perfectly. The white sheer ribbon completes this lovely card.
